where are they mounted?

^ they are mounted pretty close to center, at the recommended mark. the sidecut mark is alot more forward than that of the 1080 of the same length.

It's a chip. OH NOES, they aren't pretty anymore! Let's all whine about it. They look like they're in decent shape... the base is the most important thing on these skis.

yes, but the edges are intact and have no sign of pulling out or anything like that. i spent alot time detuning before i used them.

The less topsheet you have, the easier it is to do tricks.

It cuts alot of weight off the skis.

When I get new skis the first thing I do is get rid of the topsheet.
