Guys, please tell me your opinion about these skis.

What pros and cons of these two pairs of same skis but different model years?

What do you prefer if you can get great deal on any model year of this skis?

If I already have JJ's 185 2014, Chetler's 183 2013 and Squad7's 190 2013 it will be great addition for my quiver or I spend money on the wind? :)

Thanks in advance for replies!

Well idk about the 2016...but the 2013 122 are extremely similar to the 2013 bentchetlers. You would have a ton of overlap in your quiver...so I wouldn't buy them if I were you.

I have the original ones from 2012 I think . They haven't changed the ski since its inception other then a new graphic each year from what I know. It's not being released next year either.

And you have great taste in skis but all awfully similar. Maybe skip these for something very different. I like the way you think tho.

Guys thanks for your opinions, I will skip this pair.

What about Armada ARG 2012?

I know that it is great choice for powder but is it possible ride on them on pistes with same comfort like on JJ's/Chetler's?

They have a 133mm waist, no ski really skis great on piste when they're that wide.

What will be the skis primary purpose? You already have lots of great powder skis so why don't you add a more all mountain orientated ski to your quiver? I would go for something thinner around the 100mm range, perhaps 4Frnt Devastators, K2 Shreditor 102, or ON3P Kartel 106, or Armada ARV Ti. All these skis will be way better than the ARG's for skiing piste.

I think now I ride 50% on-pistes and 50% off-pistes.

But in future I want to more practice in off-piste riding.

Also I have Armada T-Halls 176 2013, but I don't jumping and jibbing and prefer more wider models for daily driver. Me and my wife have the same boot size and she using T-Hall's :)

Well if you're skiing 50% piste I definitely would not buy the ARG's and would have a look at the skis I mentioned earlier. They will all ski well on piste and also do well all around the mtn and in light - moderate powder.

Sounds like you have 3 sets of skis that ski almost the same..so I guess it comes down to what kind of binding you want to put on them and what bindings are on the other sets...if you don't have one pair of pow skis with touring bindings then ya get anther pair and some touring binding,or if you have the money to invest in a tech boot and tech binding you might like having a light ski to hike with.
