I just got theese boots... they are super comfortable and i got footbeds and shit like that done to them. I only saw good reviews up untill today i found a bunch of ppl saying they fall apart and shit.. im kinda pissed if thats true...

any one got theese boots??

my bro got a pair warrantied at the beginning of the season cuz the plastic tore between the upper buckles. he loves them, but all I hear is that they are cheap and wear down very easy...

I have about 20 days on my Quest 14's and so far so good. Only thing I find is a little too much forward flex, but tour mode has great range of motion and boots are pretty comfy stock. I haven't even tossed insoles in.

I wore some for 1 season didn't like them. i found they really packed out in the spring. I bought them to big also. That I'm sure was part of it. They just lacked the boot to ski feel I liked. I bought them because like you said man they are comfy!! But I think to comfy? I managed to sell them to a patroler dude I knew and bought some full tilt Konflics. If you bought them the right size you'll probably be fine with them.

I did the same thing a while ago. Bought them reading only good reviews - came across a bunch of bad reviews and got worried. They were great for me - held together well, I didn't have any buckle issues, the AT mode lever wasn't a problem, the shell and cuff were stiff and worked well. I skied them hard and was happy with them. From everything I read afterwards, the 2010 model year was the serious problem year - the 2011-2012s corrected the problems.

Update: i went with a Quest 14 because i chewed the toe bill off another boot badly and the Quest series are the only boots on the market (besides BD Factors) that you can completely swap this part. So, now that i got them, the add on AT contagrip/vibram soles just failed on me after less than one month of use.
