has anyone tested out the pocket rockets, my friend just bought them. i figured i would wait to see what people say abouth them before i get them.

I definitely wouldn't buy them unless 1)I only wanted to ride pow/off-piste or 2)I already had a pair of skis for use on-piste and wanted a second set for pow days

ya, i wanna get them because i love getting piste off

I'm promoting my site, click please.

smiley was skiing on them at SMS and he said they were good in the park and that when you skiing off piste it feels like you skiing on a groomer cause it smooths everthing out since they are so wide

I demoed them at whistler in april, and they were far and away the best skis I tried. They really do kick ass at everything. They hold their own on groomers, land big airs no prob in the park, light to spin around, and big and fat to float off-piste. You won't be disapointed if you buy them.

actually i read an article that said they 'excelled' in short turns

i read in SKI that they were the best in short turns

i wanna know if they work in the pipe

prob. not due to the extreme shape...but you get everything but a great pipe ski in one blue beast.

actually theyre one of the big mtn twins that would be an exception for the east

alright guys i know this is an old post, but what do u think I'm east cost and I already have a pair of twins, the 1080s shoul i pro form this just to have another ski (for out west and here if it dumps) or will the p.r's hold there own on the east coast?

I Demoed them at Mt Hood THis Summer. In August. In Slusy Conditions they absolutely suck. If your used to skiing like a 180 or around there you should get the 175 They Suck in the bumps. Yes you can land easier and they float like a boat. A must for the backcountry jib stick in the West.
