Salomon kaos or full tilt hot dogger ?

I'm getting pretty tired of all the boot threads.

Anyway, what you want is to try the boot yourself on. It's not about what boot is best, it's about what boot fits you best. That's the only thing that matters. Go to your local shop and try them on. Just buy the one you feel most comfy in...

You honestly are asking us to compare two boots at the opposite ends of the width spectrum, the full tilts are a 99mm last while the kaos's are a 104, that's a huge difference.

We know next to nothing about your foot so how can we decide what's best for you

My advice would be to go to a bootfitter

please...I really don't want to see a thread from you in a few months called "My Full Tilts hurt my feet" or "My Kaos's Suck" or something like that. You need to find the boots that fit the best to your feet - not which are the coolest.

Beat me to it. There's absolutely no way that someone can fit perfectly into both of those boots. I know every post has mentioned this, but it needs to be stressed.
Both are good boots if they fit you, so try them on somewhere and get whatever boot is the best fit.

its not what you wear but what you do while youre wearing it. personally, i am now wearing womens boots. dont put to much into the name

are you retarded? boots in skiing are EVERYTHING! its important to get a good boot, that fits well, has a flex you like and is just plain compfy. Me personally would go with the hot doggers but its really up to you and what feels best.

Please, please, please, don't buy a boot just because it's popular. Boots are your most important piece of equipment. If you buy boots that don't fit properly, you're going to end up injuring yourself, possibly permanently.

I know "fulltilts" is pretty much a goddamn mantra around here, but a boot that fits well and is rated for a different aspect of skiing is a MUCH better buy then a poor fitting "park" boot.

And you are calling him retarded? You just confirmed what he really meant. You recommended a boot based on the hype of the name with no info whatsoever that could even generate a recommendation.

i guess i could have made my first statement clearer, i should have said "its not what you wear, in terms of brand name or product recognition among peers but rather what you do in your boots regardless of their name or look, which is why i rock womens boots. they fit my tiny girl feet like a dream"

good post there though bud, calling me out on a simple little mix up

Seriously though get what boot fits your feet.. I went into a shop thinking I was gonna be dropping 600 on a pair of boots and ready to do that.. and ended up paying 350 cause they fit my feet by far the best
