Salomon guns

I found a really good deal on the salomon guns. and just wondering if there fun skis, if you can use them in the park, and how well they do in powder. somebody said that the back tip doesnt rise as much as the front? will that really affect skiing switch?

+k for help

best skis i have ever been on. i learned 5s and sw5's on them and never had a problem with the back tips. the dont float that well compared to a big rockered ski but the absolutely killed everything for me. what year can you get and for how much?

they didnt make them last year, im guessing they are the dark blue with the bird at the tip. whats the bindings and what condish are the skis?

This is my second season with salomon guns. I am good powder tree skier, my last skis were atomic sugar daddys, im 6' 170 ( my spelling is horrible i now)

Powder: i ski mostly heavyer coastal snow. I like the dimensions there fat without being too big if you know what i mean. There sit able to link snappy turns in the trees but still float in the deep 30cm+. I find myself struggling to keep my tips above the snow when im straight lining somtimes. Maybe an early rise ski would be better somthing like the czar or shogun ( i think there early rise).

Park/ groomers: the guns can link up some fast turns on the cords, but i found they dont do well in icy condistions. Its like the tips arent stiff enought and the tails are. Ive never done any park riding, ive got a different pair of park skis. but i think the bases would get rat bagged doing rails judgeing from the bases after hitting little pebbles.

Sparknotes: a light poppy small underfoot powder ski that can link turns in the groomers, and great in 40cm of powder or less. has lots of flex in the front and a bit stiffer in the back. best suited to a lighter skier in lighter colder snow conditsions

if youre in need of an all mt. ski right and cant wait i would go for it assuming his description is legit. i would look around a little bit if you have time though, for 300 you can get something similar that is new and you wont risk buying a ski that has edge damage and you will get a warranty. if its just an impulse buy i would stay away

alright im 5' 7" 165, i ski like probably half park and half powder. my budget is like 300-350 dollars what would be a good ski for me?, because im looking for something wider underfoot like 95mm up
