Salomon Gaurdians

I am having trouble putting my Gaurdians into your mode while I am in the bindings. I know you push back the tab, but my basket hits the part of the binding where the din is displayed. My pole is bending before it pushes the tab back. I am trying all kinds Pangaea but nothing seems to be working? Is there some sort of trick?

Disregard this, I figured it out. If you were wondering or had the same question, you can't put pressure up before you actually push the tab back, you have to put presse down. The the tab pushes back much easier. And I also found going between you legs with your right pole to unlock your left ski gives you the best angle.
