Salomon Depart 01 - Girlfriend's Powder ski?

Break it to me tell me the pros and cons of my girlfriend buying a set of Salomon Departs (170) as a powder/ fun ski

She uses the Blizzard Sheeva 9 and is in the market to look at powder/ a wider waist ski for deeper days,

For the stated dimensions and stats (170):

125mm - 104mm - 137mm

(3160g)

(14m Turn radius)

-5cm Rec Mount point

As for bindings, mounted with a spare pair of Strive 14s (100BW)

Somehow convinced her on the top sheet, and Tignes, France local resort!

It would be an awesome ski for her, It's forgiving enough to be fun and buttery, but enough stiffness underfoot to make it a capable one ski quiver. I'm assuming your girl is fairly lightweight; so something like Depart will be tons of fun for her. I think she should totally go for it! She won't be disappointed.
 
can i be your girlfriend and can you buy me a 180

ski is super easy to ski, can kinda do it all, super fun.

Thanks for taking time to check the post out and reply! Only thing I will have to be worried about is the other skiers ;) Sounds like it will be a great birthday present!
