I am getting more into back country and all mountain skiing a bit more and am looking at some skis for that. i have narrowed it down to these skis. i ski on the ar6 for park and love em but have no clue what either of these skis are like.
i'll always say jj, you'll have much more fun with it than with a czar
the rocker and taper will make them sick in pow but the short running length will make them surprisingly good on groomers. they also kill it in crud and trees. i've only heard mediocre things about the czar but i can imagine it performs well just more of a traditional feel. the jj is a much more interesting ski that i bet will outdo the czar in most conditions
When it comes to bent/rockered skis, I definitely say the JJ is one of the most fun skis out there. It's super light, poppy, and a blast to ski. If you get this ski, you will not be disappointed.
I was offered this years JJ model at 185, but since I'm 6,2 weighing 180lb I'm not sure if they're long enough? My level is intermediate.
Any opinions?
