Salomon Boots are straight

I heard that Langes are like the most upright boot out there. Also pretty sure I heard that Salomon boots are on that end. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes The Salomon xpro or spro whatever it is (I can't remember because I'm at work) are pretty upright.

I just realized this after two seasons with these boots. I have the womens ones. I had been fighting them this whole time and had no idea there were options with more forward lean and the ability to adjust it. I had been trying to get into more aggressive stance and didn't realize how upright they are. I always felt wierd jumping and this is probably why

I just ordered some new boots from a different brand with more forward lean.

What kind of options are you talking?

My specific option that I decided on was Atomic Hawx Magna womens. (102 last for wide feet) Most if not all the Atomics have an adjustable forward lean . Factory set at 15° but can be adjusted to 13 or 17. Source : Blister podcast that I binge listened to while I was on a road trip last week.

When I had my Salomon boots worked on by the bootfitter he said they were too narrow for my foot and did his best to make them work.

^^^This. Most Redster and Hawx models that have "Power Shift" (the metal thing in the back of the cuff) allow for changing your forward lean from upright 13° to a more standard 15° to more forward 17°.

Props for binging the Blister podcasts!

I don't remember where I saw it but Salomons are at 11.5°

I understand forward lean is a preference but I'm pretty sure I prefer more than 11.5!

[tag=134699]@onenerdykid[/tag] Yes those very deep boot dives were very educational . I'm not sure how I stumbled upon them but I'm glad I did. Thats how I learned of the powershift. Even just looking at boots online I started noticing the images of different boots with various cuff angles.
