Salomon, Armada, or Line

Someone please help im looking for a good jib plus cruising ski, whats the best out there.....please help me
 
Salomon's cores break down easily(for the most part), and Line.....well, their skis just kind of dissintegrate.
 
salomon = skis made of styrofoam

line = progressive ski company, i think thats really stupid, one year their skis r gonna be horrible
 
the invadder is the only ski line has been having trouble with and it's not good for cruising anyway... the rest of them are bomb proof

i would suggest the chronic, its solid and stiff enough to handle well outside the park
 
dont let the foam core distract you from getting salomon there still a very nice ski...and i seem to liek the foam ...gives them more response....
 
either the armada arv or line. salomon makes some good stuff but not as good as line or armada but im ridin chrons right now and there awesome. either chrons or moships. they are awesome. either way, line or armada you get some awesome skis. id go with line. just dont get 1260s.
 
4Frnt STL (THIS YEAR ONLY) it has a full length maple core with aspen tips and tails making it stiffer so its plenty fun everywhere, especially in the park.
 
^^yeah, Def. STL. not just this year though, the only difference between this year and last is the tip is 1mm wider and the tail 1 mm narrower. Both skis are dope though
 
chronics... all these people say lines fall apart because the invaders delam easy, but other then that they dont know what they are talking about.
 
no, the invaders are mad fun to cruise on.. have you ever ridden them/know someone who actually rides them? the funnest ski of my life
 
solomon sucks for a number of reasons, I'll start with the least important and work my way up.

Their graphics are lame and in no way cool.

They do not support the newschool riders or their walk of life nearly as much as armada, line, 4frnt, ninthward or even old school companies like k2.

The main reason they suck is because the foam core and stiffness makes them worse skis then all of the above mentioned brands.

Support rider owned companies because theyre making the sickest shit out there, but even if you want to feel assured that your skis have been made by a company with tradition choose k2 before rossi, dynastar or solomon.
 
of hte 3 u picked, ar5. put consider k2 as well. i love mine and have no problems after 16 times out on them already
 
what's with all the salomon hatred???? ^i'm not just singling you out, there are more. i've had salomon's for the past 6 years and they have been nothing but great. i ski alot, and i ski really hard, and i've never broken a salomon ski. they hold up wonderfully, they are super fast, very stiff (good for huge jumps and pipe), and i dig the graphics. you foam core haters, you need to wake up. foam core is no different than wood core. you guys are bsically talking yourselves into believing that salomon sucks.

k2 is pretty damn killer, but salomon is my fav.
 
i own the invader i ski hard ive had over 20 days on snow with them and other than TOPSHEET stuff they are PERFECT

its the whiny bitches bout the topsheet who make shit up OMG MY EDGES HIT TOGETHER AND MY TOPSHEET GOT CUT

shut the fuck up
 
i love my skogens for "jibbing" they are kind of stiff but if you are heavier they would be ok i guess for presses....but they are nice and wide
 
If your looking for a good carving ski thats good in the park then get the line assassins from last year. To me, they carve better than my chronics.
 
Salomon: You're a nerd that skis 5 times a year with your parents, you bought the only twins your shitass shop carries because one of your cool friends has some old rossignol pow airs.

Armada: You're a badass, or you're a poser with too much money and a high speed internet connection and you spend all day on Newschoolers.

Line: You're an average skier, you're still core but not as core as if you bought 4frtn or Armada or some other "underground" overpriced ski company, with money you saved you can buy that sweet gorilla coat spyder makes.
