salomon 720s

i think they are just lines basically. They are cheap twins that are pretty soft. I know a bunch of people who ride them but I dont think they do good on big jumps.

worthless skis, do not get them. Feels like you are wearing skiboards...big mistake purchasing those mr.

they have no tail at all. other then that theyre ok, especially for shorter kids, but i switched to lines cuz it has like 4 times the tail height than the 720s

if you're gonna drop the cash on twinnies...get some real skis, like 1080's, pow airs, or candide's

No tail??? The tail height is the same as the 1080s. They are a good ski if you are a younger, or smaller skier. They do good in the park, and are a decent ski.

shorty

no, the tail is definatey not the same as the 1080s. the 1080 moguls probably not the regular 1080s

ya im pretty much definite that the tail is way smaller than the 1080s..... plus the skis suck

Thats one reason why I did not buy them, I seriously think you could catch your tails landing fakie, that and everyone says they suck, too bad, I could have got em for $120 new.

They are much smaller. My friend and i layed them next to each other at a ski shop. But i seriously dont think that the tip catching is a problem. That will only happen in slush where any other twin would catch

-Teddy Knape

haha ive used a ski with no tip at the back at all, and if its regular packed snow, its easy as hell to land, if you catch with twins, you must suck at skiing backwards

dumbass is u hit a qp or halfpipe it will catch go try it out....

yuou can land and take of switch on tables...qp's....mmmmm mybe i got enemys and i have never caught my tails on anything....i don't think the 720's arnt' that much lower

no shit you can land a kicker or gap switch with normal skis, you just don't land too far back on the skis...but twinnies are really made for the reassurance that it will not catch on jumps...but they are especially made for 1/4-pipe and 1/2-pipe...but i suggest you go try a normal ski in the pipe and tell us how you made out if you think it's the same...k bud??

720 are good skis for beginner to medium jibber.

My cousin rided them for two day and the tail never caught in the snow.

Beginners don't need to plunk down mega$$ for skis that are too much for them. I got Dragons because I've skied for almost 19 years (some of those I doubled on a snowboard). Point is, not everyone has the same ski requirements. I wouldn't put my fiancee (new to snow sports) on something stiff and long - I'd put her on 150 720's or something soft like that, because she is NEW.

I used them all of last season, and i landed switch many times and i never caught my tail....if its not the same, its very close to the same. I'm sure they have the specs on the salomon site, but im not sure. This year I stepped up the the 1080s since im finally big enough. later.... SHORTY (T-lo)

Ive caught my tips when I used my xscreams for landing fakie. I landed alright but when the slant of the table met the hill it usually caught and gave me a nice bump on the head.

Anyway salomons now making 540s! They seemed even lighter and flexier than the 720s, if you can believe that.

I tought the 540 were skiboard......

Anyway, I'll to get some 72o for cheap and use them for rails.

Very old thread gets new response, I have them in 2012 and it's amazing that they still work but they work fine.
