Salomon 10/11 Suspect or 2012?

Which one would you choose? which one is better for park AND poweder?

i haven't seen a design of the skis yet, but i'm probably going for the Suspect! I can choose one for free...

what would be your decision?

yea ive heard some bad things about salomon's durability but i always hope that it ends up alright, because if it does im definitly going to consider those rockered park skis.
im considering those or the alpha 2's or nine lifes for my next park ski, but i still probably won't buy it for awhile

whatever floats yer boat bro, seriously those skis won't last, and searchbar everyone and a while you might learn something. I wouldnt trust salomon

you sir are an idiot, dont post unless you know what your talking about!!!

But the answer the OPs question, i have the 2012s, and i love my 2012s, they kill it super hard on jumps, and are very poppy for rails and jibs. They will also be better on pow and all mountain for sure, although they are a little bit chattery at low speeds. The suspects are very similer to last years suspects, so if you have ever ridden a pair you know how they feel, i think that the suspects might be a better rail ski though! But overall i would get the 2012s for sure!!

he got 3rd at jib academy at the stop at holiday valley, NY. james kills it.

i have also ridden the 2012s and i have the suspects. i love my suspects, amazing for everything except pow of course. they are both super poppy, really light fun skis. i would prob take the 2012s just cause they have rocker which is super fun to ski on. im either getting the 2012 or the alphas for next year

The only thing that kinda sketches me out about the 2012, is that I yet to see Sammy or Dane...the creators of the ski...ride it in any edits or pics. I know that the movies for the season haven't come out, so that might change, but come to think of it I've only see Suspects in the park (except the occasional pipe pro out there). If they're so stoked on their own ski, why aren't they riding it...I could very well be wrong, but again, I haven't seen it on any Salomon team rider yet.

if i was given a choice to have any of next years salomon park skis it would be the pro pipe, no edge armor

yeah, i completely agree. thats why i get confused when i rarely see any armada riders on the alphas when they are supposedly the ski to be changing park skiing. and yeah, i know, i shouldnt be worried what the pros are riding, but then why do they hype all these skis up and i never see them on them?

nope, I've held the 10/11 Suspects, there is no edge armour. Also, all the Salomon Park ski will be made in Austria this year, instead of China like previous years...I'm still gonna wait until they prove themselves before picking up a pair (Suspects have been on my hit-list for years now, I've just never wanted to buy them cause of the durability, but if that's fixed I might consider buying some).

ironically, LTE's are going to be my next Park ski - I got my hands on some Phil Laroses and they're amazing, I'm stoked to get LTE's.

i double beg to differ (I am saying they suck)

Please no one say that "You have never ridden a pair" because I have and was extremely disippointed.

I have a pair of suspects and they are so sick, and pretty durable so far. But if i had the choice to get the 2012 i would just cause i would like the rocker in the ski.

But its frustrating when people say salomons suck and the durabilty is horrible. If you look at a lot of the pictures of salomon suspects and dumonts with edge rip out you also notice that the edges are rusted. I had mine for 3/4 of my season and rode nearly every weekend and only have 1 crack cause i take care of my skis. If you take care of them they last longer its common sense.
