Saloman boot Q

I currently wear Salomon Mission 5s in a 26.5s from 3 years ago which were fitted by a qualified boot dude.

From where I live in australia we only have 2 ski stores. One which stocks products from 3 years ago and one which has a very minimal range, mainly gaper wear.. (not blaming them as this is how they make money as it is a small market here in Brisbane, not allowing them to justify ordering in specific products)

My Question is would I be right in assuming that if I bought some SPKs from the US in a 26.5 would they be a correct fit or would I be way off and have wasted my money.

I realize the importance of having a boot fitted by a qualified boot fitter however I do not want to walk into one of the shops here and waste their time as I do not intent to buy from them due to their small range.

your thoughts NS

The spk's are fairly similar to the missions, however the missions fit a little wider and also have a much higher instep. If your current boots are fairly tight in the instep then the spk probably wont fit. If you cant get it fitted, put your foot in your current shells without the liner. Put your foot so it does not touch the front or back and see how much room you have above your instep. If you have 2cm or more you wiull be fine, if you can only just fit a finger between the spk wont fit. Width wise if your missions are tight then the spks will be somewhat tighter but you can get the shell streched if you need.

Hope that helps
