Sagina Dies After 15 Years and 9 Months of a Beautiful Life

It is with a heavy heart I share this news.

Please watch this short video, and read the description there.

He died swiftly in between Lovely and I on our bed, and did not have to suffer long.

Much thanks Sofa. My girl cat I had before was not totally purebred, so she lived 18 years. For a pure Persian, Sagina lived a full life. As with most, it was kidney disease that finally took my boy.
 
yeah unfortunately i know that's all too common. keep your head up and keep giving love to other animals my man. you did right by Sagina

I don't think I will ever get another pet. I'm getting way old, and it will be hard being an empty nester, but doing travel will be easier not having a pet at home.

We have a turtle that is probably older than me though. No telling how long she will live!

I have always been a lover of animals. Always will be. They seem to love me too most of the time.

good to be smart and practical about it but i hope you do get another one some time if it works for your lifestyle. even when you're old and have trouble getting around, you could still give a great home to an animal especially an indoor cat

None. He never had to go through any of that.

He was struggling for breath, then had a seizure, and was gone it about a minute.

BTW, Sagina was not an "it".

Thanks Dead. Yes, he had a life of luxury. A very good living situation with as much love as a cat could have.

What did Sagina identify as? You don't know unless you speak cat so stop mis-gendering. It is totally appropriate in this situation.

Yea, it's always hard when we lose our pets.

IDK if I'll get another. I said that after my prior cat of 18 years died. Then, after a while, I did get another.

That was a long, long time ago, though.

Thanks man. I have way more, but just needed enough for his song. We brought him home in that hat! It was a 10 hour drive!
 
Oh no! Its so hard losing a pet!.

I remember as a kid having a cat that made it to 18yrs old. We had to take her to the vet. And I had to say goodbye to her right before going to school. That was one of the worst school days ever.

That's the way it has always been done in my family.

A few days of viewing.

During that time, the body becomes supple again and can be arranged for burial.

BTW all caps are reserved for Tanner only.

My grandfather had a special box for kittens. It was a wooden box with a hole in it which would place perfectly against the tailpipe of his truck.

Honestly this is always what happens with my cats. They do a fantastic job of making you hate them by the end. Our cat growing up started puking on my bed every morning when I was in high school. Diarrhea'd in my closet one time all over my dirty clothes pile and I got it all over my hands while searching for my belt.

Not looking forward to that with my current cat.

Anyway sorry jaques

Cats are the shit. I will always own one I think

Finally just got my own a few months ago. Had the GFs for a few years. Wasn't able to get one all through middle/highschool because my mom and sister are very allergic.
