Saga Shutout Jacket

So I think Im goona get the Saga Shutout Jacket in Safari. It says its just a softshell. Will it be warm? It seems pretty warm by the looks of it. Im about 5'0'' so im looking at the medium or large. Also would it be worth it for next season?

I would say a medium because a large may be right at your knees and maybe even past them. Also just depending on how much you're tolerable to the cold I would say weather in the lows 30's and below layer up very well. May not have the best rating of waterproofing but its your choice. I suggest spending the extra cash if you have it for a the anomie or fatigue jacket.

A shell is to block wind andnot keep you warm as such. Layer up and you'll be fine and get a medium

I had one earlier this season, even when layering that thing let's wind through so easily.

Complete opposite of a wind proof shell. Much happier with my bloom jacket.

It's warm if it's not windy or you're just lapping park. But don't get. Large. It will be huge on you
