Saga Outerwear?

it just kinda sucks spending 500 dollars on a suit you arent going to get until next year lol when all the new gear is out anyways! haha
 
last year is about 15 days and some hours(here its 19) away. i would be patient with them
 
I'm so tired of hearing about these companies failing so hard at getting their products to their customers. Heads should be rolling and shit should be moving. Instead it's thread after fucking thread of "I did not receive my shit" and I totally feel for these people. Spending 500 $ on ski outerwear and having to explain to your parents or whoever the fuck that your going to have to ski in your old setup is ridiculous. "email saga", "be patient", "shit will happen", you know what, fuck that, call out the company because clearly they're not responsible enough yet to provide their customers with their products. Mistakes happen, yes they do but if saga can't handle the fucking load they're getting, they should shut down their store for a bit like NS did or maybe STOP selling their stuff ONLINE and 100% wholesale to stores instead. Also, I'm guessing a formal apology instead of a bs thread in gear talk would strongly be appreciated by those who got duped. A front page story about how you guys are going to fix things for next year SAGA???? How about that? How about lethal descent also makes a front page story trying to "fix" what went wrong. "Ahhhhhhh duuuuuuuuuuuude skiiing is about livvvvvving and feeeling the lifeee duuuude" so who cares what our customers think, they're still going to buy our shit.....not for long.
 
Yeah, I was kinda tweaked when LDC ran into some rough shit, but at least I have a ton of days on my suit now.

I cannot imagine the frustration of every Saga customer, because l was mad at getting my suit in December.

January...February?... When are these full priced suits that were pre ordered going to arrive?

ya i mean im not to to upset but still people received there shit already and i still have to wait until the 20th i guess that is bullshit i have been waiting over a month they could at least spend the extra 20 bucks and overnight it to me or 2 day air. i would rather have my suit here tomorrow than a few stickers and a tall tee.
 
Even though they have made the effort to satisfy the customers (including myself) with a tall tee and some stickers, that is simply not enough. This is fucking ridiculous. No matter how good the gear is, no matter how cool the company is, no matter how core they are, they should be more respectful of their customers and be on top of their shit. I have now lost half of a season with a new suit, so I have been getting wet, and my suit covered in duct tape, is no providing adequate warmth.

Saga outerwear should have done more that a shirt and stickers, because they are such a small company and such a small demographic within the ski industry, they will have a hard time having customers buy from them again. I know I will not buy a Saga suit again if they don't figure out how a company is supposed to function. Yes, I know shipping screwed them over, but the original shipping date was set out to be Dec 15th if I'm not mistaken. Even mid-December is too late for a suit to ship.

I'm pretty fucking pissed off about his bullshit. There are no excuses for the late receiving date of our suits.
 
shipping delays, customs delays, not much THEY can do,

THEY offered YOU a 100% refund if you wanted,

YOU did not take the refund and buy a whatever you think YOU can get to replace a saga suit,

THEY issued many appologies,

YOU do not listen to appology, or take refund

YOU continue to hate on them for all that they havent done for YOU

fuck ive been waiting for a hi intensity amber polarized lens from oakley for about 3 months.

ive also been waiting for money that my employer owes me for a few months

shit can happen, grow up and deal with it. or do something about it.

^and do you know why you wont buy saga again, unlike alot of outerwear, because you wont have to.

 
I did write them an email saying that I wanted my money back but I have heard nothing.

My grilfriend bougt me a pair of saga pants online. Since I live in Denmark I knew that it was probably going to take some time before my stuff arrived. Then I got the notice that there was some shipping issues...Then after waiting a couple of weeks more I get a mail from them where they tell me that they have oversold my product, so that I can either choose a refund or change to another pair af XL pants. The problem is that all the other pants in XL was sold out too. So I was left with nothing than to try and get the refund. They have not responded on my mail but I am hoping for the best. Hopefully they are not as slow with the refund becuase then the season will be over before i recieve that money.

I really dont understand was is going on with this company. They are making cool products and have a great pro team, people are stoked so that should be the perfect basis for making a succesfull business. And since they are continuing to be in business one would think that they wanted to make up for all these things because if they dont they will eventually loose their credability and go bust.
 
dude you are missing the point, i shouldnt have to come onto newschoolers to find information about my suit. I paid 500 dollars for it, an email or 2 would be nice. What if I didnt have a newschoolers account then what would i do... they arent the greatest at answering the phone or returning emails..
 
amazing rant. i cant put my frustration into words right now. i ordered months ago, still dont have it or a tracking number saying its shipped

As I had previously stated, the suits were supposed to ship Dec 15th, even if everything went as planned, this is too late to ship a suit. So yes, they can do something to better these problems for next season.

I need a suit for MYself, if I had gotten a refund it would have taken the same amount of time to get myself into a new suit. And by the time I knew how long the suit would take to get here, there were no suits left in size in any stores.

THEY may have issued an apology, but I would much rather have a tracking number than an e-mail from them.

I have grown up, actually, a child would not be as worried about a suit as an adult that has dropped $500 on something that has not arrived. I have also tried to do something about it, but I have not received an e-mail that has whatI have asked for.

No, I will not buy Saga again if they don't fix their problems with getting their suits to their customers. If they do, then I will buy another suit from them. And, I will most likely rip the suit on the legs by the end of the season.
 
^at least someone isnt being a little baby about this. Saga kills all other outerwear out there and always will. Sorry some people cant handle that they are a tiny company out there trying to do there best and seem to have some bad luck. If you cant suck it up and be a man and be patient than you dont deserve to ride the shit anyway. Maybe one day they will be big enought to meet all your expectations.Cut the couple guys that run that company some slack. They do all they can. The shit is so amazing that I think its worth it to just wait it out.
 
saga isnt the only one that fucked people over on their shit.i preordered stuff from SMS from jibij at the begining of october, adn they kept telling josh at jibij it would be there by a set date i think sometime november. then they said it would be to jibij's shop on DEC 10th, it wasnt there till the 23ish, shipped to me on the 24th from jibij( josh is the shit) adn i got it the 3rd or something of january.
but it didnt get anywhere near asmuch attention becasue not as many peeps ordered it as saga. i ordered my shit thinking it would be here in a reasonable amount of time, had i known it was gonna take as long as saga i would have ordered the saga stuff, gotten 20k instead of 10k waterproof/breathe, for like $150 more, adn ogtten it the same time.

but all that said my sms stuff is dope and was still worth the wait.

you run a small company that relies on people coming back to buy more stuff. i dont care all the much how long its taking, what i care about is that i have to come to newschoolers for info on my stuff. i have an email address, i gave it to them when i ordered my stuff. it was given to them for a reason, the reason came up and my email address wasnt used.
 
yea its fuckin cold outside. sorry you dont have your suit yet, that sucks. i appologize if my post was rude. id love to see saga do well, you can tell by the products that they deliver that they will and thats why it sucks to see people pissed at them.
 
i ordered mine ages ago, and still havent gotten a shipping confirmation or tracking number like they said they would send, and I have sent them a couple of emails, one even asking for a refund, but no response
 
haven't even started to ship to europe or non-us countries yet except canada... they need to step up their game, switch producer or get the layouts to producers earlier..

There is no opinion on this. It doesn't matter whether its a small company or a big company, whether they have a board of stockholders or a living room couch. A company's top priority is their CUSTOMER SERVICE, no matter how big. I sympathized with Saga for the first couple weeks, reading the threads and wishing that they could pull things together. Obviously they're a legit company and a bunch of good guys.

However, their ship date was Dec 15th. DECEMBER 15th! Most people are already skiing in their new stuff by mid-November. Even that was too late.

And now here we are a month later, and Saga is still fucking up. Obviously no one seems to know what's going on because all we've gotten was a 5 minute NS apology.

If you were buying stuff from anyone over the internet, say a fellow NSer, and something went wrong, wouldn't you want them to tell you? Saga's been pretty sketch on this whole deal, and even though they're obviously legit, it must be so frustrating to have but those hundreds of dollars in the mail and everyday coming back to your house to see that there is no fucking package on your front fucking steps.

It does not matter whether their outerwear "kills all other outerwear out there." It doesn't matter that they're a tiny company. CUSTOMER SERVICE should have been their top priority. Maybe there will be guys who think they deserve more than just stickers and a t-shirt, and thats fine. How would you feel if you could not ski, or were at least miserable skiing, because you didn't have the outerwear that you spent bank on and didn't yet have? And for the rest of them, a simple personal explanation by email or phone call or whatever would've been fine; just something so that the customer would feel valued. Saga obviously hasn't done anything like that for their customers, so why should any of them want to come back? A company doesn't deserve anything from their customers if they can't provide for them.

I don't know what the problem is. Hell, I didn't even buy anything from them. However, I feel like the overall stokeage on the company is real low right now. You know how we'll know whether things worked out? Ask the people who bought Saga this year whether it was worth the wait...whether missing ski days and having to ride in they're old gear was worth waiting for Saga's fuck up? That might be interesting. My guess is no.

i wholey agree with everything you said, their number one priority is their customers, becasue with out them they wouldnt exist.
 
well i got my suit and am very happy with it. sucks about the shipping i guess but what can you do now. i hope this goes smoother for everyone next year.

I still havn't recieved my refund. I placed my order on Nov. 11. I wrote them 3 weeks ago about the refund but still havnt heard from them...

What really makes me wonder is that SAGA is still selling stuff in XL. This is really strange since I was told that these products was sold out, which was what forced me to want a refund in the first place..

I am confused. Does anyone know what is going on??????????????????
