Saga logo cracking

Sorry if it's been asked before, but has anyone had there saga jackets logo to begin cracking super early into use? I just got a black Saga OG logo softshell, and after 2 days out it has soooo many cracks throughout the front logo. My Friends brother got the teal one last year from windells and his hardly has any marks on the logo.

Whats going on?

Ya, I know its not a big deal, but i'm just wondering because buddys jacket looks better , and its a year older.

Not when you get charged out the ass for an inferior product. How come i can go out and get a jacket from company x and it doesn't crack?

Its a common problem with the OG jacket. Mine cracked easily after a couple days of use. Just deal with it, its the material.

best bet is to take it to a t shirt printing place with a heat press and ask them to press it.

Thanks for the response! I figured it wasn't really a defect, but more the materiel just giving up. I just want to know why mine is so bad already and my buddies is almost prefect and if anyone else was having the same problem. Do you think it's worth the hassle to even try and get it repaired/replaced?

If it bothers you then yes it is worth it. And it's not really a hassle. You email our customer service, they will tell you what can be done.

Your salty bro, what I said in that thread was facts calling a customer after a delay is not going above and beyond, it's not bare minimum, it's somewhere in the middle. And suggesting a beanie to be tossed in if they really were going above and beyond is not a ridiculous idea. In fact many company's would.

I kind of assumed that that would happen with my new OG logo jacket. I took one look at it when I got it in the mail and was like, yup that will crack over time with the cold. The problem is there really isnt a good way to put a big ass logo like that across your chest on a winter jacket short of sewing it on as fabric, and then you get the issue of adding a whole bunch of un-nessesary seams to the jacket, decreasing its waterproof....ness. I guess this makes me glad I got the blue one with the grey saga logo, the subdued nature of the grey on blue will make cracks pretty much invisible unless the person is on top of me.

It is when your parents don't buy it for you...Think of all the college kids that are bumming it with 2 meals a day just to buy one of your fucking coats..Appreciate every fucking penny you earn!!!!

Regardless of who buys the jacket $130 is not that much for a jacket with the tek of the og logo jacket. Compare it to others and it holds it's ground quite well.

Yeah I do want name brands... Got a fucking problem with that? In fact 130$ is super cheap for a decent waterproof garment from a NAME brand

5K waterproofing really is not waterproof. That being said, I like my OG logo jacket alot, I still am learning how to properly layer with it. I tend to overdress it seems.

There's this thing that happens in the ski industry in fact it happens in every single industry. It's called "mark up" so therefore Saga pays for all material and everything that it takes to be made. Doesn't cost them much but they have to mark it up so they make some sort of profit which allows the company to make money and continue to produce sick outerwear. For basically the same thing from Armada it's like the same price if I remember right. I got it on proform for about $70 but retail had to be around $130. So don't complain about a company selling their shit for rediculously good price. Go look at north face, same thing is probably like 190-200. Also you're probably experiencing "customer wear and tear" typically happens when you wear the product.

Got the red and white one. Have the same problem with cracking but idgaf and short of replacing it there isnt much to do to it and the time/cost to get it to and from europe isnt worth it. You buy a jacket with a big logo, its likely to crack, suck it up.

This thread hurts to read. Softshell is not waterproof. Logo cracking does not matter in the slightest. Ski in a real jacket that does not have something screen printed on it if you are worrying about this.

It is rated as a 5k jacket, I can tell you that it will rappel light water, but anything more than a light mist is going to get you wet. Snow hasnt been an issue for me in mine yet but it has not snowed very much yet so we will see how it holds up in blizzard conditions.

These twelves complaining that a screen printed logo on their $130 Saga soft shells are cracking. . . Lol. It fucking HAPPENS, it's screen printed on there. I have three Volcom shirts and you know what, the logos look like they have stretch marks. It's a fact of life, and also if you think $130 is expensive for a soft shell made by a company like Saga, then you're a) poor or b) your parents are cheap. Get a job like most NSers that are over 14 and buy it with your own hard earned money.
