Saddleback Pot of Gold

So as I'm sitting at school bored thinking about skiing I thought about St. Patricks day. At Saddleback they have a thing where they hide a "pot of gold" somewhere on the mountain and if you find it you get a free seasons pass for next year. I have never been there at the time to look for it, but I was just curious if anyone on here has ever found it or knew someone who has? I have always been curious because it seems like a needle in a haystack kind of deal

Ya shit gets pretty cray that day. I tried it a couple of times and it is so hard to get, it usually ends up being a local that has tried it a couple of times but you should still definitely go because it is a super fun day.

i just have no idea where they put it, I have always been curious about that

It's usually in the woods off of a main trail, like they wouldn't put it in the middle of the third shoot up top, but maybe like in the woods off of green weaver. Not too easy, not too hard.

I looked last year, checked exactly one trail that I thought it was likely on. Turns out I picked the right trail and am not nearly observant and/or patient enough
