so i got fucked by burton today. whats new? apparently steep and cheap isn't a registered burton distributer so they wouldn't warranty my board. however, they warrantied the board last year which was also from steep and cheap. fuck burton, i'm sick of their bullshit. anyone else ever here of steep and cheap product warranties not being honored?

Thats bullshit. BC.com and their affiliates would DEFINITELY be Authorised Burton Dealers.

1st of all - SteepandCheap IS an authorized Burton dealer. Whoever ran your warranty at the W48 must not have known what they were talking about.

2nd - SteepandCheap.com is part of Backcountry.com and the same great return policy applies to SteepandCheap as it does to Backcountry.com, which is: "We guarantee complete satisfaction and an unlimited lifetime warranty.

If at any time -- now, next month, in 30 years -- you're not 100%

satisfied, send your gear back for a full refund. No questions asked."

If you need any more help I work there, just shoot me a pm

Off topic, but if you work there, do you know why the international shipping costs have CONSIDERABLY increased over the last 2 years - (and it can't be a direct reflection of the costs charged by the int'l couriers)

yeah my bro snowboards and all his burton stuff is shit

burton is all hype, but everybody buys it because 1) its cool 2) burton owns the ENTIRE MARKET

Burton is wack sometimes. even my burton "gore tex" mittens are barely warm in cold weather. my burton helmet is starting to fall apart, and as you guys probably know, the burton stuff sold to chain sporting good stores (sports authority) is absolute garbage.

f uckin yayguhbombs....

Or why everything I get from SAC or WM costs 7 dollars in shipping? Even if I only paid 6 bucks for the item and it barely weighs a pound?

shipping has nothing to do with the price of an item, it has to do with size and weight of a package. Only relatively expensive items will make the price of shipping increase.
