can anyone tell me exactly where the lift to the glacier is situated so i have an idea how far i'll have to walk each morning... (coordinates or exact description from saas fee mainstreet ?)
is there anyone else in saas fee around that time?
grtz !

hey, i am still looking for a place to ski this summer, but the problem is that im from berlin and no one here wants to go skiing, let alone skiing in the summer.
i owuld be interested in going to saas fee. the only problem is that i dont have so much cash and need to find a way to get there.
so ya, i would be seriously looking forward to shredding with a fellow nser this summer.
cheers dude

yeah, that'd be rad!
I'm going there together with some of belgium's best freeskiers, so i hope i'm gonna progress alot in that week! :) They already have an appartment booked, and i may or may not have a place to sleep there, so to make sure i'll bring my tent.
also i've seen you can get a chalet for under 200chf(=less then 150Eur) !so if you can split that amount in 2 or 3 or even 4 you're even better off than on a camping!

I'm also going for a low-budget trip so i think we're on the same level about that :)
i'll let you know what we're going to do :)

And about transportation, i'm a bit of a hobo myself, in the first week i'm already in switserland doing some alpinism, then i walk/take bus/train for 1 or 2 days to saas fee, there i do my stuff in the second week, and then i hope i can hitch a ride with one of the other belgian ppl out there :)

I am going to be at Saas fee from the 18-30th of august. I am camping because the cheapest condo you can get in about 70 a night. Camping seems like it will be fun, and i will be able to meet new people.

ok, i have fixed a spot in a chalet with other belgians, so in return for cooking food/waxing skis i get a place to sleep :)
so stoked, i'm leaving tomorrow!!
:)i'll report back about the glacier when i'm back...
cheers!!!
and if anyone reads this while i'm gone, i'm skiing with a gopro, yellow pants and probably light blue jacket, i have a Newschoolers sticker on my helmet and i ride on movement joysticks (hippie skis)feel free to come up to me when you see me there !! :)
