S7 vs other rockers

they're all different, i was deciding between the jj and s7 and went with the jj due to it being like 3.5 lbs lighter and i love it, such a bomber ski

so what are the pros and cons of each. I don't know much about rocker and different kinds, other than they're cool in powder, just wondering how to make the right choice. I am 6 ft 1 inch and 165lbs and with everything going on clearance, figured it would be the cheapest time to purchase

Just buy what you want and what you figure would work for you.

All this bs about ski length vs body height is not relevant. Yes you can go a little longer with the rocker, but in some cases do you really want to? maybe not.

there is a ton of rockered skis out there, or reverse cambered, or no camber skis with rockered tip, or double rocker, etc etc etc.

where do you ride? what kind of snow is it? do you like to surf pow or more long carvy type turns? do you like to charge lines, or do a little more bc jibbing and jumping?

these are the questions you should ask vs ski length.

S7 is super stiff bi-directional rockered ski. Good for charging or crude, but definitely not as fun to ride as the hellbent, ep pro, or jj's.

s7:pros- stiff charger ski, versatile, rips everythingcons- heavy
jj:pros- similar to the s7, more symmetrical so better for switch riding, lightcons- not many that i have found so far
hellbent:pros- amazing forwards or switch in bottomless pow, fun, butterycons- they don't like crud or hardpack
ep:pros- similar to hellbent, super fun ski in bottomless pow or park, designed for switch landings in powcons- quite soft
there are a lot of rockered skis out there, go with whatever one suits what you're looking for and the type of skiing you do

iight its between the JJ and the hellbent. I can get the hellbent for 400 dolla and wonderin how much the JJ goes at retail, since the 185 seems to have sold completely out for this season. Curious I have googled and can't find the differences in weight between the two. I am definately gonna focus more on bc jibbing, so cliffs, booters, etc. My only concern is that ive heard the hellbent is very heavy and I am worried about getting around spins off cliffs and such. thanks for the help!!!

I to debated over the rockered twin skis. After much debate and talk, i bought Hellbents and i couldnt be happier. they are absolutely amazing in powder, and the charge llike no other. plus they are super fun anywhere else, except icy moguls, but then again, what is fun in icy moguls? My friend has JJs, and he loves them to. I was thinking about S7s, and heard that they are a little weird and dont ski switch as well as 'Bents, so I ended up getting 'Bents for a great deal and couldnt be happier.
