Hey there i live on Vancouver island and during school some guy comes up to me and my buds about a trip up to big white for 4 days, he gave us his sales pitch and everything with panflets n shit. anybody bin on this trip before? would really like to have a personal input from someone that has gone before. he said that they send schools from all over the mainland and have recently started .

+k to anyone that has a good review on it
 
went last year, it was really fun, really drunk as fuck fun, but definitely a rip off. if you can afford it go for it cause your gonna have fun but be prepared to feel ripped off at the end.
 
Yah seems like a rip to me. They set one up for my school and it`s like 400 for 3 nights without food or skiing or anything. Just hotel and parties. Seems like a good time and everything but id take that money and drive with some buds and plan your own vacation and go clubbing and what not. Thats my 2 cents.

Would love to slay some highschool tang from girls ill never see again, but its not worth the cost. Oh and it seems all the losers from my area are going.
 
They did one at my school. If you organize it and get people to go you get a free trip so definitely worth it. If you are paying for the trip... huge rip off. I didn't go on it, but the people that did got all these hidden fees and got charged like $100 just to get to the parties. If you are gonna organize then hustle for that free trip.
 
yea they said the 350 or what ever it was is included the tickets which are reg like 70? i think ill go whether im payin or organizing it. ive only ever skied at one mtn so it will seem legit. plus theres a comp the same time the guy said so itll be fun.
 
Yeah we did one to Fernie last year, I decided to skip out on it. But I did do the grad trip to Mexico with them and although it was a rip off, it was the best fucking time ever. Drunk the whole time, banging bitches, partying and you won't have an experience the same with out going with them I'd say. So if you have the money, definitely go, but don't try and make ends meet just so you can go on it.
 
my whole grad class is going is gonna be a fucking blast the cost for kids at ballenas is 460 i think which in cludes 3 nights acomodation, 2 lift tickets and bussing from vancouver island to kelowna and 3 breakfastes sounds like a hella good deal with a 1000 other kids my age fuck ya
 
Im from dover man. and yea it comes out to 520.33 after taxes and all that gay shit. see you up there man i just made my deposit yesterday
 
basically sums it up. their "continental breakfest" was a croissant, a juice box and a piece of fruit hahaha
 
I organized the trip for my school.

Yes, its a huge waste of money. That being said it was fucking ridiculously fun. The amount of money you pay for the amount of fun you have feels like a rip off though. When I went the skiing was awesome and it was sweet to ride with all my buddies from school that I don't normally get to rip with. The park was a great time.

The party was absolute shit. Like that thing sucked so much dick. Pussy to dick ratio was EASILY 6-1. The music was good however but kinda blew how there was no girls to grid up on cause the ones that did come got snatched up FAST! We just ended up settling with the girls that came from our school.

Umm... The food was BULLSHIT! You got a food voucher to restaurants in the area. Your meal wasn't even big enough to feed a baby. It was cold. The servers were pissed cause they had a million kids running around bitching about food. The only way I didn't rip someones head off was cause the waitress we had gave us like a whole arm load of bread (we ate at east side marios) SO I was satisfied.

The skiing with your buddies was awesomely rad. Defiantly the best part of the trip. And I met a few new friends there that I wouldn't normally ever meet. So that was super chill.

My suggestion:

Go if you can afford it. If you don't, you won't miss out on much if you've already shredded big white.

Over all trip: 6.5/10
 
im going to big white this year too. was gonna go last year but i broke my thumb and was pinned up. dosnt reallly sound all that bad.

bus to BW and back 130$

2 days ski pass 120$

accomodations split 4 ways for 3 nights 60$

four shitty litle meals has got to be another 30$

 
Man, I feel sorry for any service staff working the hotels/restaurants when these trips happen. This can't be a money maker for those businesses and shit will get trashed, what the hell are they thinking agreeing to it.
 
Hahah I remember a bunch of college kids coming up on the hill, it was fucking packed. last year I was talking to one of the kids, who helped organize it, about the partys and they sounded fucking sick
 
Mine as well but it costs a lot and I don't really care about it so I'm skiing with some friends instead.
 
Yeah dude, ours is like two weeks after we grad in the summer, but I'd rather go to ski camp or something then later on go with some of my closest friends.
 
my class is going to puerto plata in dominican next year (im in grade 11) and the deposit is due wednesday.

it's like $1700 for 8 days and all-inclusive. seems like a lot of money. anybody been on this trip? worth it?

honestly s-trip was the best week of my life ! but it was waaaaaay over priced. i feel as if you had the opportunity to just go up with some friends youd have the same amount of fun for half the price.
 
I never understood why people went on these overpriced trips. Your pretty much an adult, go on your own trip, you don't need to pay hundreds of extra dollars for a babysitter.
 
my parents wouldnt let me go to cuba alone/ with a bunch of friends in high school. its like the security factor that my parents wanted..
