Rusty after tiny breaks

If i take like a week off skiing sometimes I return to it and it literally feels foreign. Almost makes me start panicking because i feel like i've lost all the tricks i've tried to learn. After like a day it's usually back but its weird how i can get rusty after literally missing only a week. Anyone else have this?

Definitely can happen to me.

It helps me alot when im not feeling on point to hike a rail that is trickable as a warm up too, so like a flat bar or a flat tube or something and just get rust off your tricks and kind of get a feel for everything before you go start lapping bigger features. Spending about 15-25 minutes at the start of the day is better than taking a whole day or 2 to shake off the rust.
