It actually rubs right off in the snow. Happens everynight to my skis, nothing to worry about.

go to like home depot and ask some one for scotch-brite, its like steel wool but green, it takes rust right off and wicked cheap too

Brown bottoms? I don't know what will happen with that, but your edges, I know, will be alright. It was only for 3 days so good chance you'll be set.

Why did you feel the need to make the same thread twice? And no you fucking gaper after three days it wont hurt your skis, just go ski on them and the rust will come right off.... You sound like a huge beater.

theyre not the same thing they just look the same i doubt steel wool would work but you could give it a try

If they were exposed to salt and sand, then the edges could need to be ground (the salt corrodes more than just surface rust), but from the sounds of it, you'll need to clean the bases as well.

life is too short to have any regrets

ya im just gonna try and ski them out see wut happens

i know the guy at sunapee who tunes skis so hopefully if i need it, hell gimmie a freebee

Yeah steel wool is the best thing to use for getting that brown stuff off your base.
