Russell Brand vs. Fox News

Russell Brand recently came out with a video about the hypocrisy in Fox news. The made a report discussing how Obama should handle Isis, and he compared it to the videos that terrorist organizations in the middle east have been making for the past decade. The funny thing is, Fox also decided to give a response to this video, which is a decision that does not usually seem to go well for media outlets.

I personally think he makes a good point, but I would love to hear what NS thinks.

Of course some are spectacularly more idiotic than others.

Fox News is a very loud sideshow. It contributes nothing to society. Unless you count ignorance or divisiveness.
 
As much as I dislike Fox News, I really fucking hate Russell brand. The only people who watch Fox News anymore are bitter old people do nothing but bitterly complain. Idk what drugs you have to be on to watch the other guy.

The video he's criticizing is hilariously bad, though. That woman is basically human trash, but the funny thing about it is that she's really pretty indiscernible from an over the top cartoonish TV bad guy. Like, on a weekly drama, she's the person you're supposed to despise because the show has made that clear in a heavy-handed way to a tee. Yet Fox broadcasts this stuff.
 
i think russel brand has a few screws loose, but fox news is the next Taliban. They come up and take no responsibility for everything Bush screwed up (He came in to office with a budget surplus) and don't take responsibility for House/senate republicans stalling democratic bills in both chambers! Before terrorists come in and attack us, we will have no political infrastructure because GOP members BLOCK EVERY JOB CREATING BILL. Then the GOP jihadists go on and explain why Barack needs more military power in a country that cant help or harm us!!

i think a strong case could be made fox spews retoric just as bad as a terrorist group. imagine you lived in iran and saw that clip, what would you think?
