Russ Henshaw competeing with a torn ACL?

He is probably wearing a brace if this is true. But I skied down no problem 5 minutes after I retore mine. Definitely need some strong hammies to ski alot with a torn one though, and very risky.

Definitely wearing a brace. You can ski without an ACL with proper leg strength and a brace but it'll get pretty sore and you'll tweak it once and awhile and its awful for your meniscus.

It depends on the person, my dad skied for 2 years without an ACL in his left knee and then he got it repaired. Though my friends mom tore her ACL and couldn't walk so got it repaired within the month of tearing it. Not that important IMO
