Ruby Hill Opens Tomorrow!

For all of you who are unaware, Denver Parks and Rec teams up with Winter Park every year to build a free rail yard for anyone to come and hike.

We will be doing the build out Tuesday January 6th, and the park will be open to all come Wednesday the 7th.

The rail yard is fully lit every night until 9pm

We are getting a couple of new features this year that unfortunately will not be here for the opening but keep an eye out for those. Typically we have room for about 10 features.

Christy's sports also offers free ski and snowboard rentals on the weekends, great way to give those who might not otherwise have a chance to learn to ski.

Denver Parks and Recreation told us to wrap it up and unfortunately what they say goes. Part of it is somevolunteers wanting to be done as this is the longest we have kept the rail yard open since it started. Its a bummer I know as this new snow could have kept it open another solid month.
