Let us overload the server more by getting rss feeds of the news. and yes...i'm completley aware that this hurts any ad revenue.

Otherwise, ical/xml the calendar so people who have macs and/or use firefox/thunderbird/sunbird can get the calendar of events, etc. easier. no, i won't use it...but it'll give you somethign to do in your free time. and just think of how much nerdier you'll be than everyone else:)

RSS feeds are a waste of time when you have a perfectly good and efficient news system here. It will only overload the server most likely by people who leave it connected constantly and in fact never look at it but simply use the bandwidth.

We'd love to do this, alas we have no spare time.

Remember making me dress in only swimming trunks during winter to advertise outside for our Tropical Beach Special Edition issue? I lost 7 of
my toes that day and I collected 8 subscriptions. You thought I'd only
get 5, but that day I showed you what I was capable of.

rss feeds for tracking threads would be WAY too server intensive. i meant it more as a news thing and that's it. most rss clients are nice enough to only hit a server no more than once every 30 minutes.

if you did it for threads it just wouldn't work.

isnt the whole point of RSS is that it doesn't take much bandwidth??

It looks like this summer we will be adding an RSS feed to the news.

I'm too lazy to come up with a new signature so now it's this.
