Besides the who call out and sell out thing going on, I don't see what's wrong with the photo.
This was shot on Toronto, I'm assuming it's for CTV, which is Canada's host provider for the Olympics.
She's in front of a green screen, which means that she'll most likely be keyed out of it, and keyed into a layer which has an event venue background on it.
If it's some kind of graphic that is going to be added built up and added onto the current event running, doing a green screen would be the best way to build this graphic.
For those who have ever used tv production equipment (switchers, graphics machines), you'd know this is a ton easier than you think it would be than filming, and adding layers and effects later.
