Rossland / Trail

I'm thinking of applying to a job in Trail, what is this area like? I've heard Rossland is a little nicer and it looks like a short drive so I would probably live there.

Trail is a bit more industrial/red neck. Rossland is a nicer place and very close to Red Mountain. Given the choice, I'd choose Rossland. Careful though, the road from Trail to Rossland can get treacherous in the winter. You're going to want a burly car or truck with chains if you're commuting.

You don't want to live in Trail. A lot (like half the town) of Rosslanders work down in Trail.

If youre doing a season then live in rossland. Trail has teck in the town so its kinda gross. Rents cheaper though.

Trail is the worst place in the kootenays, everyone I know call it mordor
