Rossignol Scratch BC

So I've only been skiing for 2 years, I started out with some really shitty Atomics that werent twin tip or anything. I quickly upgraded to the scratch BC 171cm. Does anyone else have these skis? I really want to get into hittin everything in the park. Are these skis good for rails, boxes, and kickers? I want to be able to haul ass and pop switch at any time and at any speed. I want to be able to do corked out 3's, backflips, truckdrivers, etc. It just seems like I don't have the right ski to do any of this while making it look easy. Are my skis too wide? It seems like I have to put in so much work just to pop switch. Do you recommend this ski? What would you recommend?

I have the '08 Rossi BC's too, 171 cm and they're too stiff for me to do anything on them. I weigh about 140 and I just can't get enough pop to get anything real good going. For spins and rails these will be just fine, but if you're going into butters, flips and stuff, you're gonna need some more noodley skis (more flex). These aren't exactly park skis, but they'll do if you're just getting started. That's where I am at this point, more powder and trees than park.

Yeah, the wood is denser (that's what she said!) with the stiffer skis so it's gonna weigh more. I'd say ski on em for a lil while longer, get better, then get some cheap, flexible park skis to ruin!

Yeah my skis definitely feel waaaaaay heavy. And you hit it right on the mark, everytime I try to butter, its hard as shit, and my shins hurt like a bitch the next day. I definitely need more light, flexible skis. Thanks for all the great info!
