Rossignol S4 help

Hey,I'm looking at buying some Rossignol S4 skis. And because we dont have them in the shops here I'm asking you if Rossignols size measurement is what they say it is. Or does theyre size run longer/shorter (like k2 runs 4cm longer)?So would the 174cm S4 be actually 174cm or longer/shorter?thanks

interested in the 2011 174 s4 as well. run short? long? even though my 178 s3's have a small amount of rocker in the tip and tail. they measure to about 172.5

my 2009 180 s3's are exactly 180cm if that helps

I've skied Rossi "S" series skis all the way back to when they were still called the "Scratch". They tend to "ski shorter" than they are marked, or at least it seemed so. They do ski shorter than a similarly marked K2 for sure. I skied 181's, and they sure felt a lot more like something around 175. The 174's seemed to ski super short, but I had a blast on them.

Yep. If you measure the running surface (bottom), they are usually right on. If you measure tip to tail (on top), they are usually short. And yes, they ski way short.
