Rossignol Ghetto VS. Surface Watch Life Questions ++K

I hate to make a comparison thread but i'll be stoked with any help +k
I've been riding rossi for years and overall i've been pretty pleased. I've had ghettos, fs wrs and scratches.
Its time for another pair and I want to try somethin new.
I'm 5'10, 170lbs, ride 95% park, but I really like a ski that performs all mt as well in order to feel comfortable in the park.
Pros and cons of the ghettos
ProsLightfun flexeasy to handle
consweak edgestiny bit on the soft sidetiny bit on the skinny side
Overall i'm stoked on the ghettos but i'd like to find another ski thats similar just as light or lighter, a bit wider, a bit stiffer, but still butterable, friendly, and has lots of life and pop to it, and ideally better durability.
I was thinking about the 08 watch lifes, the green ones with the leaves/ branches. I've read reviews but never had the chance to ride them. Are they what i'm looking for?
If it helps, any ski softer than ghettos i've disliked. I thought invaders weren't impressive and wasn't a fan of fujitives. I've ridden PE's and thought they were too stiff and didn't find the flex fun or lively.
If there's any other skis you think i should consider post up. I'm all for this years skis to but i'm a college kid on a budget.
Thanks and word up for any help

i'm guessing if you have ridden the fs (is it the blue and maroon one?), the fs wrs, and the ghetto you are used to rossis and how they ski. watchlife's are capped if that makes a difference, might make it ski differently, less life and energy maybe. I'd say look at brigades, you can get at a good price now, and are a bit stiffer, but still good for park, and are good for all mntn. They are also wider 96mm in 178, 98mm in 185. Maybe last years blend, 90mm waist, carbon matrix. Stiffer and wider

the 08 watch lifes are rather soft. softer than the ghetto. so if that is a major issue for you, look at the 09 watch lifes. it's pretty much a different ski entirely.

thanks for the help. Cap was one of my concerns... I've heard overall the 08s were stiffer though. I've ridden the brigades, fun ski but 96 is wider than i'm lookin for for nh

honestly, 96 is nowhere near too big for the EC. Actually if you only have one pair of skis, i would recommend a mid 90's ski.
My friend rides a 115 mm underfoot ski for just about everything, and i have a pair of bacons for everything except rails.

fair enough, I have friends who love wide skis as well but 96 is wider than i'm looking for.

07 chronic blend

08 blend

both 90mm waist, so wider and carbon matrix so stiff but not too stiff

rossi s3 90 or 92 mm waist comes in a 180, i think is basically the old scratch bc from like 04/05

maybe armada arv/alpha 1

moment reno rockers/jibs

anthems, might be to soft and not durable

i have the watchlifes and absolutly love them they are so good kill it int he park and are a great all mountain ski. this is my second season on them they have lost a tad of life in them not to much still are solid prob get new ones soon but def get the 09 the sidewall will make them SOO much better considering they are arleady a great ski and a sick up and coming brand
