Rossignol FKS pivot 120

Hi guys,

so i've skied Look pivots exclusively the last few seasons and just bought a new pair of ON3P Jeff 108s and am frantically trying to buy bindings before my first trip this year 16th-23rd Decemeber.. i only have one guy willing to sell to me who is a 4 hour train journey away :'(. but they're Not LOOKs, theyre called Rossignol FKS 120s - ideally id like a binding that can go up to a 13/14 din as im quite heavy - all my other skis are 15s but set between 8-11, but im willing to make that sacrifice due to the time pressure. the main question is do these operate and work as well as pivots do? Ik LOOK is a part of rossignol so idrk why these are even rossignol?

sorry if this is a stupid question but i just want to make sure they're good before i take a 100£ 8 hour round trip to get these bindings?

Yeah the Rossignol FKS is the same binding as the look pivot just branded differently. The last fks’s were made around 2014 so theyre definitely on the older side. The 12s will also have a different toe than the current pivot, and it wont be compatible with gripwalk.

How much is he selling for? I wouldnt pay more than $100 and would only get them if theyre in good condition

theyre in very good nick - look brand new tbh, he's priced at 100£ including some beaten up Coreupt yard skis - i will likely never use them though and doubt i could sell the skis alone, also brakes are 95 and my ski is 108 - figured id bend them but could be sketch - problem is i have to pickup like 4hrs away from my house - probs a 100£ return train. you reckon its worth it? - theres not a huge amount of options - most of the stuff i find is US or Canada for 200$ shipping (im uk) so like 400$ for most pivot 14s

Yeah they function the same but won’t accept grip walk boots

what do you mean by 'wont accept' like ive had my boots a good while so tbh theres not much of the grip walk left on them you reckon i can put it through a electric sander and squeeze em in or is there no chance?

this is the exact binding and i have Nordica speed machine 110s

Definitely dont take a 4 hour train for 10 year old bindings and definitely dont hit your boots with a belt sander.

Have you looked at snowcountry.eu? They have good deals on pivots rn and fast shipping.

wow ive spent hours searching the internet and never found this site lol - 270 euros/230£ for pivot 14 is the best price i have seen brand new - if it has free shipping this could be my lifeline. probably cheaper than the combined fks and train fare aswell. its a trustworthy site yeah? im gonna buy now lol - know any discount codes?

yeah all the time - was mostly looking at second hand and uk companies though so ig as theyre an EU company that may be why i didnt come across them - or i read the euro as £ and figured theyd be 300£ incl shipping - ended up paying 240£ for look pivot 15 gw 3.0 so i mean its not a steal but a lot better than anything else ive seen, especially for brand new ones. thanks guys!

Sport bittl is good too. P14 for 268€https://www.sport-bittl.com/en/look...pwalk-r-freeski-binding-forza-3-0-95mm-brakes::224585.html

Trying to find pivots 2nd hand in the UK is a pain in the ass, there just isn't a big enough market it seems. This is by far the best deal I've seen new tho with reasonable shipping to the UK, can't believe I've never heard of/used backcountry.eu before, even with delivery, the prices are nice, and actually in stock of stuff.
