Hello all,
I was looking at Rossignols 08-09 binding line up, as most are probably award of they have a SAS line and an Axial line, on the site I was trying to find out what the differences are however i could fine none.
Are a SAS and an Axial binding of the same version number the exact same binding just in a different color combination or are there any actual mechanical differences?
thanks-

sas=seven artistic sins=colors to go with s series of skis. axial is for the other skis not in sas lineup. same bindings, its purely aesthetic

The sas bindings are basically the race bindings repainted as "freestyle" bindings. The axials have tab forward pressure, floating afd, and plastic arms in the heel. The sas have worm screw forward pressure, fixed afd, shorter heel track, and metal heel arms. Basically better.
