Does anyone have on-snow experience with the Bandit line, particularly the XX?

Do you think I could jib on them the same way I do on my Dragons? As much as I love my Dragons, they may or may not make it though the next season (or the summer if I get a chance to hit up Mt Hood).

compared to my 180 candides they were pretty heavy. they did have the demo bindings but i think they are a little on the heavy site.

You think my Dragons aren't heavy? I have pretty light bindings and boots (as far as alpine standards go, although they are on the heavy side as far as telemark equipment goes). My Dragons, with bindings and boots are reoughly 23lbs

I could look for something next year if I went on a trip. Do places like Mt Hood have demos over the summer season?

i haven't skied on dragons but the bandits are pretty heavy compared to my new scratchs. they also get beat up pretty easily. i riped my binding off my bandits doing a rail.

i love my bandits however i do not jib on them, i like the base of my skis, they are great in the air good balance for spinning. and they rip anywhere on the mountain, extrmely stable at high speeds unlike any true twin tips i have ever ridden. the new bandits are different though they did a redesign
