Rossignol Axial2 binding

So has anyone ridden the rossignol axial2 120 bindings? I want to get them for my line chronics at the end of this season. Would they be a good binding for park and some trail riding? if not, any sugestions? Thanks

How tall are you and how much do you weigh? That's really important since you may need more, or less din. Honestly it's very hard to notice a difference in bindings. Besides that I enjoyed the binding, it did what it was supposed to do quite well, and that was ejecting when appropriate. In my experience rossignols pre-release the least, they're advertised with a high elasticity meaning you can get into them really well without worrying. My one complaint was I had some serious trouble adjusting the din on my pair, I had to use a lot of muscle to just get my din up on the heel pieces to where I normally ski. Also the taller heel piece got knocked around a bit and got out of place after a while. Rossi is releasing a newer series of bindings with better heel pieces for next season so theres that.

You need to tell us your weight for any info to be relevant but I ski them on my New Lifes and they hold up pretty well. I had a pair of them on s3s before. They never gave me any trouble and are pretty durable but they are kinda heavy for park. Still doable just feel a little more sluggish than something lighter likegriffons.

I have 2 pairs of the 12 din and have only broken a brake once. They're good bindings, I would recommend FKS if you can afford it though. This happened earlier in the season on a misty 5 landing, but its the only major issue I've had with them.

I'm the same size as you and I have then on my park skis. No problems so far... Except I ripped one heal off once. Not sure if you would blame the ski or the binding for that one though

Great binding for somebody who may not want to spend the extra/need FKS. Quite durable from my experiences with them, and not too heavy either.

im the same size but have the px14 bur it is pretty much the same binding. the only real knock i, like others have said, it is kinda heavy. but over a good binding that does its job.

have had several pairs of those and the old pivots. would buy them hands down. but i honestly would wait for the axial3 because they completely changed the heel piece for next year!

LL&size=400x1000

sia. its also got a pic of it in the sia mag they send out to shops. It's a really promising binding thats a great price point too. look to be less than $200 or so i believe
