Just got a pair of Rossignol 140XL bindings mounted them onto my skis. Im just having problems with tightening the DIN on the heelpiece. The screws so tight its rediculous! I have asked loads of people I know to have a go aswel and they cant do it so its not just me not being strong enough. Any one else had this problem? And is there an easier way to tighten them? Cheers

have a shop take a look. could be something wrong with the spring which would be bad news for more than just tightening.

rossi binding are a paint in the ass to work on.. just my expiration.. and everybody's in my shop.... that heel piece however... it a great handle when running the ski through the wintersteiger machine! :)

Try making sure the heel is clicked up. When i tried tightening my Axial heel, I found it showed more resitance when the heel piece was pushed down.

Good luck!

they are tough to tighten, but it sounds like there may be something wrong if it is that hard. like others have said, take them to a shop so they can have a look.

As a note, some 18 DIN rossis have a hex nut in back cuz the screw is so tough to turn.
