i was thinking about getting either the armada ARV, Scratch BC, or Volk Karma. I think i well be spending atleast a week out west or in Europe and maybe a few weekends in some of the PA mountains. My only concer was that maybe the skis i want are to much for the PA mountains becuase there is no powder there? And i was wondering what to do if i get a skinnier ski like maybe the armada AR5 or Dynstart troulbe makes like if i get one of those what do i ski on when i go out west or to Europe?

eh doesnt really matter. people are riding pocket rockets and stuff. the only thing thats a little tuffer is getting them on edge when its groomed cordury. heck, you should be in the air most of the time, who cares whats on your feet. (ski blades excluded)

bc's and the pocket rockets are cool, id go with either since the have the same dimenions, and a 90mm underfoot is good because i mean we are NY and newengland, so 90 can hold up everywhere
