i need a pair of din 3-10 or 2-7 bindings, and i found one but it is the model with the "X-Plate" on it, and i definately don't want lifters, so i was wondering if you could mount the bindings without the plate, and would they work normal

you will need a set of shorter screws if you don't use the x-plate. If you use the screws that come with it they will punch through the bottom of the skis

go to a ski store with the binding and your ski, and ask them if you can rummage through a "screw-bin" or something to that extent. any store with a tech shop will have piles and piles of left over screws, your bound to find plenty.
