So, I was skiing and blew out my heel-piece from my Line Sir Francis Bacons. The skis are in good shape and so is the binding, except that the plastic rail piece that holds the metal rail piece to the ski cracked and broke in half when the heel piece broke away. The black plastic rail piece I am referring to is the piece that runs along the whole base of the binding and is where the front screws attach the break to the rest of the binding as well as the rear two screws.

If anyone has this piece on an old binding ( I think the same rail piece is used on the 120s and the 140s ), I would be willing to pay shipping for someone to send it to me.

my rossis 120 just broke right there today and i had to send them back to warranty cause i've been skiing on them for...1 day hahaha so yeah it happens a lot i guess rossi isnt as realiable as i tought, sorry for useless post just tought it'd share my experience

Yeah, its a pain in the ass when I've only put about 12 days on my skis and the plastic rails are already broken. I think Rossi's problem is that they use these crappy plastic rails to hold their bindings to their skis. I have not had any problems with the bindings until now. I should have gotten the Jesters.

You would need to speak with Rossignol about that, it's a fairly fundamental part of the binding to replace so I would imagine you need a new heelpiece.

The heal piece is fine, if you've ever taken a close look at these bindings, this plastic rail piece is completely removable from the rest of the binding. Its just a simple, crappy piece of cheap plastic.

Your local shop may have replacement parts for that binding, if they do not have the rail available there they can get it replaced through warranty from our warehouse in Ogden.

We are paying attention to the issues you guys are having with plastic (I've seen a few of them here in the forums), the design crew is addressing these with the freestyle binding we're working on.

ive seen that piece crack so many times....bring back the fks...or fix that issue. i mean come on its an 18 DIN binding fuck
