Rollerblading = Groundskiing

Technically the 4 wheel frames are harder to grind with but a lot of them will give you no trouble if your coordination isn't shit.

You should try Oysi Frames. Flat Frame with the feeling of Antirocker. Four wheels but a big groove ??

I started with oysi large frames, they didn't feel weird but in retrospect they were really tall. They didn't look so tall though because I was skating high volume skates that were two sizes too big.

right now I'm on Kizer Fluid V's and despite not being hi-lo they literally feel like oysi, if I land on the hblock I am pretty much guaranteed to not get wheelbite.

A year of darkness is a good way of looking at it. It's terrible and you're so sad; there's no changing that. But you'll grow and be happy when you're ready. You'll look back on this dark time one day and, while it will never unchange you, you'll know it's behind you. Keep making beats for sure dog. Loved your recent edit w/ your music in it. Let's see more of that

Its pretty terrifying when you go down decent sized hills.

Yeah, they're like ice skates.....imagine dropping into the pipe or hitting urban on a pair of ice skates.

yeah it feels really weird at first because you have no support in front of or behind your feet but you get used to it pretty quickly esp if you already ski a lot

Hijacking this thread to ask a related question. Rollerskis or inline skates for cross training ski spins on a wooden ramp + airbag? I'm currently using small wheeled aggressive inline skates and wondering if renting out those rollerskis is worth it, or if maybe longer frames and bigger wheeled inline skates would be better cross training for the speed and stability? It definitely looks more cumbersome to get out of the airbag with rollerskis since you have to deal with clipping in and out, but maybe it's worth it. The small wheeled aggressive skates feel really sketchy since there is no fore aft stability, but maybe longer frames or bigger wheels would help simulate skiing?

It sounds like you're at one of the Woodwards, I've heard their rollerskis don't work good for spins.....like I see a lot of backflips into foam.

For blades a longer frame would be less sketchy, but bigger wheels would be more sketchy. Most brands use longer frames on bigger size boots, but they bolt on the same. So you could get a longer frame off the same skate in a size 12, with the same small wheels. They won't turn good, but for airbag + foam it don't matter.
