I love the trick but the only time i remember seeing it is turpin's at parkasaurus and seth.seriously. why is this no one ever throws them off jumps especially not bc booters

rodeo 720 is pretty frequent I would say, mikael does some sick ones, Kristi in Happy Dayz as a couple and there are a lot of others.

They sort of died down for a few years but they're definitely back... there are some sick ones in 1242. Mickael, Tanner, Dave C., and lots of others are still throwing them I believe. JP had the most tweaked out rodeo 7 mutes back in the day, they looked like mute backs to late 360s.

rodeo is a backflip with a spin ie. rodeo 720 is a backflip w/ a 360 in it.

Misty is a frontflip w/ a spime ie. misty 900 is a frontflip w/ a 540 in it.

Flatspin is an uninverted rodeo.

crap, here we go again ^^^ ahhhh, don't tell someone the wrong thing. I rodeo is NOT a back flip with spin. That is a D-spin, starting at 720. a rodeo is a lincoln with spin, starting at 540. don't confuse the kids more...oh, and I simple back + 180 is a flair...

and whoever started this... rodeo 7's were in abundance this year in ski movies. i can think of like 6 in RFA and a few in forward. not to mention deschaneaux's in the 1242 (so illmatic)

Yeah, rodeos and flatspins are totally different. I find flatspins really easy to point out but hard to describe. They are like if you would rotate your body 90 degress so it would be horizontal, and then did a back flip, kind of, but not really. Meh, I know what they are.

when throwing a switch misty, you still rotate in a somewhat forward direction, correct? to explain, someone told me last year that you would rotate downhill, meaning that if you hit it switch and rotated downhill, even though you were going in a backwards rotation it was a switch misty. does that make sense? i guess im asking if you throw a switch misty the same as a reg. misty, just you are riding switch.

^word. Jon does throw some sweet switch mistys. to the guy who posted about tanner winning the x games with rodeo 7..it was a switch rodeo 7. Mark Abma's huge rodeo 7 was sooo smooth in RFA. And there were a few mistys in RFA, Peter Olenick threw some with a rocket air.....that is the coolest trick.
