Rode Videomic pro Problems? - with video

Hey guys, just got this mic from B&H about 2 weeks ago, been playing around with it and in pretty much every video, maybe every other, it will bump the audio levels up super high for just a second. I have a t2i with magic lantern. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? maybe its a problem with the mic? Im thinking about contacting B+H or Rode if i cant figure it out. If anyone has experienced this before your input would be appreciated!

Happens to me too and I have ML as well. doesn't really bother me though, I just don't use that little tiny part, it only happens right in the beginning though, not sure about yours.

yeah it happens in the beginning too, but it is bothering me especially when someone is talking, i wonder if it's ML...

My t2i also experience this. I just make sure to start recording way before I know I'm going to need audio...

i have a t4i and i dont have this problem so maybe its just the connection with the t2i

i have a t2i with ML and some times mine does it some times it doesn't... don't really know what it is, but it doesn't bother me too much.

It happens to me with me zoom H1 too chris. I definitely think its something to do with ML.

Look up in the ml settings for disabling the agc (autonatic gain control) this is the cause. I think you can on your t2i , we cant in t3i's tho
