Rockered Skis+Ski Racks???

I just bought a pair of Moment Donner Parties and since I drive up to go skiing every weekend during the winter, is there anything I should know about putting rockered fat skis on a rack? Btw, I have the Thule Universal Flat Top 6.

yeah dude i put my hellbents ontop of my buddies car like every day last season. just get ready to wipe them offevery time because more of the base is exposed to the road dust/rocks, but its all good.

It's not a 21+ thing, I'm 17 and I remember rockos modern life, invader zim, angry beavers, ahh! real monsters, kablam, rugrats, and a bunch of other cartoons.

I had my hellbents on top of my friends subi and we were goin 130mph on the way to the mtn and we passed my friends car and he said my hellbents were almost bent at a 90 degree angle... then I checked the camber on them and hey! what do you know I got another cm of rocker on the "top" ski in the rack.
so we flipped over my skis and did it again on the way home, then they were equal again. but after that I started to put both skis on the rack "base up" so the skis could have a down draft on the car and not get more fucked up... just something to ponder...

if he does it on a snowy mountain HWY he is an idiot. If he does it on an empty flat interstate on the way he is a good person. just bring some bacon for the dick police.

bases up works best in open ski racks, sometimes you can't fit all the skis like that, in that case, especially with ridiculous rockered skis (Caylor, Hellbent, Pontoon, EP pro, etc etc) it can be best tie the tails (front of car) together with a ski strap or cord or whatever to keep them from flapping around. If you can securing a bag over the tails and tips will help your gas milage, and keep the skis cleaner.

quit the bitch fight, this isnt even relating to the thread anyway.
either put them on the rack base up, or put them on regular and put a bag over them, they sound like fairly sound ideas.
