Rockered skis in the park

Hey I'm thinking about getting a pair of skis with rocker and i was wondering what skiing park with rockered skis is like. is hitting rails any different? so if you ride park with rockered skis please tell me about what its like. thanks k+

Most On3P skis seem to be rockered and no one complains about them in the park but other than that I can't really help cause mine aren't.

I ride surface one lifes as my daily ski. I dont usually go in the park much because im not very good, just when theres not much snow around. But they didnt really feel any different on rails than my park skis. And landing jumps you just gotta make sure you land really centered so you dont wash out on spins.

i ski my 189 hellbents in the park and its fun as fuck. Honestly doesn't seem much harder then throwing my all mountain skis around.

Ya bro rockered skis are more playful and easier to butter I don't find them anymore difficult than traditional skis. Heck I even think boxes and rails are fun on my args

I ski rockered skis in the park and have zero problems with them on rails or jumps. No difference for me on spins.

yep, good skis for all mountain though and they can butter very well. pretty fun, i got to demo a pair of Gotamas in the park and they were surprisingly fun!

I use k2 domain and they have jib rocker. It makes surface swaps on rails easier and butters are alot funner. But they do feel a bit different first time using them but once u get used to them they're deffinatley better then regular skis.

Yeah mine did the same thing. Within the first 2 months my sidewall blue out a bit and my edges were pretty much gone. i found that the abangs were to stiff.

I ride the surface one lifes in the park, now that i broke my true park skis. My only complaint is the weight, they weigh quite a bit more.

i have a pair of 2012s, i've had plenty of fun on them but i definitely prefer a more stable, fully cambered ski. you can't quite lock into landing on rockered skis the same way as with cambered. also, if you live in an area with softer conditions you will enjoy rockered park skis much more than if you ski an ice bump.

get a stiffer rockered park ski, aka. moment vice, I have them and love them! still buttery with the rocker but stiff enough to be stable on any size jump.

been riding the surface one lifes in the park for a few years now, couldnt have had a better experience with them, very fun for butters and swivels

I switched to rockered last season and had heard of this. You don't lose anything on jumps! especially if you get them a little bit longer than you would get if you got a chambered ski.

Yeah, ON3P is the only company that makes rockered park skis, that must be who he's talking about.

But yeah, OP, I ski Scimitars, check out my review if you want to know what I think of them, overall I love em and you should get them.

They blew out on the second day of using them! I had to buy two pairs of skis in three days! Fucking stupid. The abangs just suit my riding perfectly!

Im rocking (haha) coreupt bangers, and they do pretty well in the park. As seen in this edit: https://www.newschoolers.com/watch/481997.0/Westward-Sea--2-Episode-5?t=6

Works pretty well for me too, although I didnt go on rails much so far, so I cant talk about that

Surface is coming out with a ski called the One Time for the park and it has 3 stage rocker, and like most surface's, the rocker is not only ridiculous, but also fun as hell. Apparently it helps sliding rails, and there stiff so you won't wash out on jumps easily
