goddam.... robert johnson is a fucking genious... so underrated.... if anyone has respect for this guy, tell me how dope he is...

check out 'from four till late' and 'me and the devil blues'

this is the dude who basically laid the patchwork for blues as we know them today...legend has it, in 1936 he sold his soul to the devil, in return for teaching him to play guitar.... after he made these claims and recorded 19 of the most epic songs ever written he died.... he supposedly recorded 20, but no ones been able to find that last track...

A handjob's the man's job. Yo job's a blowjob.

I actually studied him in a university course last year. It was called the roots of rock n'roll. We studied robert johnson and woody guthrie a hell of alot. I also just started listening to eric claptons tribute album to Robert Johnson called me and Mr. Johnson

it's a sweet album.i went to the concert. he does a good job converting the songs into a full band.

oh yea... rent crossroads... its got the karate kid in it, still a good movie though

--------------

france sucks

yea hes sick. Claptons versions of his songs are good too. So many rock bands in the 70's used his songs and other blues guys.

Clapton's covers on Me and Mr. Johnson are very good. Crossroads is so 80s, and just so funny, but it's still gives a decent history of Johnson and has a brilliant guitar duel which introduced Steve Vai as the brilliant musician he is.

RJ is amazing... so many songs by him have been covered... and not just by Eric Clapton

Some folks look for answers, others look for fights

Some folks up in tree tops, just looking for their kites

Goes to show, you don't ever know

Watch each card you play and play it slow

oh lord.... i think i found an album that is in my top 20. Below the bassline by ernest ranglin. I listen to ALOT of music... and i feel like this music was built for me to listen to... please by this album, track it down, please
