Dunno if this has been created for or if it's dumb but who doesn't like a nice road trip, especially when you're going somewhere sick and have a good group of people. Although those long hours on the road get boring as fuck. So what do you guys like to do for the following:

food/snacks

passing the time

shenanigans

etc.

For me it would be Nature Valley bars (messy but easy to clean with vac), chinese fire drills, scaring the shit out of people, listening to anything with 80's synth. If you guys think of anything else feel free to post it.

Take turns playing eachother's music and bitch about how shitty everyone else's music is.

Jk, but this seems so happen at least now and again when going to the mountain with my friends.

Anyway, threads.

laptop, power inverter, either a 3.5 mm plug or one of those old school 3.5 mm to cassette tape depending on what the car has for a radio/stereo so you can pump the movie audio through the car stereo, and a stack of DVDs big enough to last longer than the trip.

or just connect with bluetooth... if your car is older you can get those things that broadcast your music as a radio station.

and a dildo is always neccesary. just one for all of you

Or if you have a cassette tape in your car

Makes changing music so much easier, also if you have an iPhone and an old iPod, just use your iPod for music and dont waste the battery on your iPhone playing music

yeah, this is what I was talking about for cars with tape players.

and to the dude above - yeah, bluetooth is great if the car has it, but there are still a lot of vehicles out there without it. and those FM transmitters suck fucking dick....sound quality is nothing like hard wired or BT.

THIS! Gotta love the animal game on long drives. I also throw some stand up comedy on my ipod and listen to that on the car speakers. Really passes the time well

Game we play say an animal with an a, location with an a and a sexual related word with an a...ex. albanian ant abortion, bolivian butterfly butsex...and so on. A can of fix a flat or an air pump powered by your car, just in case, music

a 12V adapter for your computer is crucial for entertainment.

COFFEE and redbull

I like M&Ms and skittles as snacks.

some bud makes the cruse so much better

I sing a lot to music. ipod with aux. connection

pillow

Money

My friend and I drove out to Bozeman earlier this month to ski and since we don't have the same tastes in music we just listened to an audiobook. It definitely helped pass the time.

snacks, candy, trail mix , nature valley bars shit like that

drinks, can never hurt to have a full nalgene at the start of a road trip

ipod and some way to play it through the car speakers. and i think it might of been mentioned but let someone else in the car play music off your ipod. I often find i play the same shit when its my own, let some fresh eyes pick the tunes off your pod.

gps, jumper cables, small tool kit, extra fluids (windshield washer etc.) never hurts

some herb, cigs (if you smoke em )and adderall for those long ass drives

oh and good peeps, nothing sucks more than spending long periods of time in a car with a whiner

As far as snacks go bring a cooler and put some stuff a little more filling inside so you don't end up spending 50 bucks on slim jims and snickers. The best road trip I went on my friend had a power adapter and plugged a Geroge Foreman grill in and made grilled cheese sandwiches the whole drive.

Lots of musiclots of snacks

lots of drinks in a cooler or two

lot of big food like sanwhiches, pizza, etc

also if you don't have to drive at all drinks make it go by way faster

Damn this threads movin, planning a road trip in june or july to Bozeman Montana from Durham New Hampshire. Gonna have to get all my arrested development and movies together.

I try to not let people eat in my car, roadtrips I have no choice though. Anyone know some filling yet not crumby/messy food I can bring in my car?

This song on full volume, on loop is all you need.

I will not be hold responsible if you crash into something because you were fistpumping instead of holding the wheel.

I've done 7 cross Canada trips with a crew/solo so just gonna throw it out there.

Audio books will save your life. Music is sweet, but that shit gets weak after a while. You need something to keep your mind processing, after 12+ hours music doesn't do that. Also comedy albums will boost moral like nothing else.

Healthy food..... I know it sounds fucked up.... but it's way better then wolfing down 7/11 shit all the time. It really takes a huge toll on the body.

Blankets, pillows and other resting shit.

Also look up road games. Like 21 questions, or I spy. Sounds childish, but is really fucking fun when your bored as fucked.

Stop often. If you have tons of time to get where your going.... Then take a few days in each of the major cities just to be a tourist.

Use a truck. So much more packing space for gear, and if you have extra space you can use it as a bed.

Also, ride with homies. The more the better. Solo trips suck it so hard, get a crew.

I have to make a 3100 mile drive next month solo, I'll have to stock up on audiobooks and standup comedy.

I love Gigi best pump up music.

Frequent rest stops. Actually get out and walk around. Also make sure you mov very so often whilst your driving to send the message to your brain you're awake. If you stay still for too long your brain cam think you're trying to sleep.
