Road tripping to Hood

Me and some friends were thinking about road tripping to hood, but we arent yet 18 so we cant rent a hotel room and im not sure if we can rent a campsite. So a few questions.

What are your suggestions for where we could sleep?

Do you have to be 18 to set up a tent at a campsite?

If not, where are campsites we would come across coming from denver, going to mt. Hood?

But seriously just go and camp. Could easily rent hotels many places. Some might say no, to many $ is $

OP, there is a magical place called the airstrip. It's near the Lake Trillium campground, but it's free. Go to that place and get buck wild.
